In South Amboy, New Jersey an organization called American DanceWheels Foundation uses ballroom and Latin dance to bridge the gap in social barriers between the able and disabled community. The organization recently performed at the Pan American Games which, is the third largest sporting event in the world. Over 10 years, the foundation’s Artistic Director Aubree Marchione has worked along side the organization to change the world’s perception of the disabled through dance. Their performance at the Pan American Games marked the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. For more on this story check out MyCentralJersey .
